[ the kitchen may have basically everything they need, but ookurikara is curious. where does it come from, exactly? there are fields, but he's never seen anyone working in them, either to grow or harvest the vegetables. what if the kitchen runs out?
these are the answers he's set out to find. finding the fields and confirming that food grows there is easy enough. the trick is figuring out what is growing there and where it all is. he'll be here a while, meandering through the fields and stopping every now and then to check out the plants. are you a food? yes? now what about this one...
futaba might find him staring at some tomatoes, or maybe trying to figure out if that one over there is an onion or some kind of radish. ]
[ Futaba’s taken to living in a strange place in a strange land like a fish to water. Or, you could say like like a teenager determined to become the number one farmer in all the land.
Of course, she hasn’t the faintest idea of how to do so but you can’t let dreams be dreams right? If Haru can somehow do it so can she so it can’t be that hard, right?
Thus if she just crouches next to Kara, tilting her head at the ….. the…… the Thing he’s got. It looks vaguely vegetable shaped to her if she thinks about it. Definitely nothing Sojiro ever used it in curry before. ]
[ Though he'd heard her coming, Ookurikara doesn't look up when she speaks. Nope, he'll just continue staring at the plant for another minute before finally deciding on, ]
[ It's another week and another murder and Futaba is Tired already. not only was it another person who should have lived, it had to also be one of the few people who treated her to delicious food and thus cemented her place as a favorite. rip, nana may you have access to the kitchens in the sky. (someone else died too? futaba doesn't know them)
that being said, catch her in the kitchen, scowling at the ingredients for cookies, like that's really gonna make this process go a lot faster. ]
[ Ookurikara isn't particularly hungry after the announcement earlier, and probably no one else is, either - but they have to eat. The plan is make something relatively basic, something that won't upset anyone's stomach after all the stress. Fried rice, maybe? Miso soup? He'll figure it out.
He isn't expecting to find Futaba in the kitchen, though. They'd already established that she can't cook well... Then again, it looks like she isn't planning on cooking. ]
It won't turn into what you want if all you do is stare at it.
