It's not for fighting. But I can tell you my description stated it could also be used in trials. [ isn't that funny? it's sooo funny. he crosses his arms ] When I asked, they told me it stood for "trials and tribulations".

From what I've gathered, that's a thing all of our groups had in common. A day dedicated to figuring out the murderer and vote for them. There's no way there's not going to be another one come Saturday.

So let's say we can put these abilities into categories. Going by how some of these roles have worked in the past, we should have offensive, defensive, investigative and a nebulous potential fourth category we can call ... chaotic. That leaves at minimum a fourth of the people here with lethal abilities. Have you tried seeing what their explanation for how you'd use it in a non-lethal fashion are yet?

I'm not positive it was them. [ a light distinction, because dick has 0 trust, but: ] A lot of people seem to believe the hosts mean what they say when it comes to not wanting us to harm each other. That leaves the possibility that someone-- or something-- else is behind the scene on that front. Until we know more, I can't dismiss any idea, no matter my biases.

...Like the universe was behind it for us. Between the factions and the magic, it does sound like they're borrowing things from each of our experiences.

...Then we need to figure out exactly which parts are from which experiences. That will make it easier to prepare for whatever else they're going to throw at us.

Beau did, yeah. Though I don't know that that list has specific experiences on them. We have a lot of things in common already-- scheduling wise, it sounds like everyone experienced those trials on the weekends, some kind of curfew forcing everyone asleep the night a murder would happen, etc.

Some things are obvious, yeah. But it might help to look at how things were different too, to see if it gives us any hints on what's going on in this place.

No, I agree. That's why I was asking about people's experiences back on that bus. We're going to need to go over with every group exactly how things worked if it looks like everything we've been through has followed us here, though.

We were disoriented and crowded on that thing. Now that we're here to see those similarities, it might be worth giving it another shot, to see if we can get more accurate answers.

Me either. And believe me, I'm not. I've tried to-- to make plans and gather information, but until the other shoe drops... we're stuck in this, this limbo, just waiting for someone to lose their life. After everything we've just been through.
