[ it's so nice to be uncursed. it means kara can go about his day as normal - though, uh, tracking down natalie is new, maybe. wherever she is, he's walking up, and doesn't offer any greeting besides: ]

[She's not too far from the cabins, since she's still getting used to the crutches, but she pauses when he comes to talk to her. There's surprise on her face for a moment as she turns his way.]

[ idk where natalie is, but i guess kara is here now! today has sucked so much and he is not in a good mood. he doesn't offer any kind of greeting, just glances at her and goes back to his business. ]

...I will try to get her to not cut her face open as widely tomorrow as she might have otherwise?

[Here they are, in the laundry room! She's glancing at one of the machines as well as the clothes they've both brought in before looking his way.]

[She thinks about correcting the amount, but then decides against it.]

You have to turn the knob to the right setting first, though.

[Here she is, rolling her way into the isolation cabin. Once she's there, she pauses for a few moments - there's no good words for a situation like this, and though she's trying to keep herself calm, it's clear that she's still distressed by the way this went.]

...If you want me to leave, you can say so.

[Not that she imagines he needs to be told, but.]

[ he looks at natalie, expression neutral, but expectant. ]

I guess I just wondered - if there was anything you wanted tonight.
