... at the very least, if it’s between someone that I can still get to know and someone who will sacrifice innocent people - I’d pick the former. But maybe if you can get along with Akane, you can get her to stop being stupid.

I told Shess I won't stand aside if he does it again. Hiding the corrupted does nothing but prolong the danger for all of us, and give the corruption time to fester. Whatever he was trying to accomplish, I don't intend to let him stand in the way of getting rid of the darkness we're supposed to be defeating.
So he would’ve accepted sacrificing someone else innocent instead? It wasn’t Mary’s fault - but leaving her in that state instead, not letting anyone else know....

I know how you feel - but don’t put Saix or whoever his partner is in danger just because Lea is a fool, if there’s another way that we can manage to fix it.

I'm the reason he even has a partner now. If they'd let me kill the one with the white hair, I could've dealt with both of them at once and left the remaining two partnered, but of course they wouldn't allow it.
